President Obama is visiting Capitol Hill late this morning to try to close the deal. Democrat leaders are trying to cut deals with certain portions of the legislation to get it passed - however, as far as I know they do not mean to make the final legislation available for 72 hours for transparency purposes, as was promised. They met last night with different Congressmen who were pro/anti abortion, and an amendment has been introduced to keep tax payer money from funding abortions outside of current law. They are trying to vote tonight.
Please keep contacting them! You have staved off a vote for months. We can keep doing it, we can kill this bill!
