Our April 15th Tax Day Tea Party will be a celebration of the anniversary of our first official event. Those involved in the organizing last year know that the size of our gathering was a big surprise to all who were watching us. When we arrived to open the lot, the city had not even opened the gate for us. They never expected the hundreds who arrived and protested peacefully that chilly afternoon.
There are many Tea Party critics who think that we are burned out, that Tea Parties will soon disappear. We want to prove them wrong in a big way. Now you are thinking, “What can I do to help?” We are glad you asked. Here are some ideas on simple things you can do to promote the Tax Day Tea Party and the Huntsville Tea Party Movement in general. Call it our guerrilla marketing campaign.
Put up fliers where you do business – be sure to get permission first.
In short, tell everyone you know about the Tax Day Tea Party protest and be prepared to tell total strangers how they can be a part of our second annual Tax Day Tea Party.
