1. FEBRUARY 16 (Tuesday) -- TOWN HALL WITH SEN. JEFF SESSIONS.  Sessions will be giving an update as well as taking questions. This will be at the UAH Shelby Center UAH Business Administration Building - Chan Auditorium.  The time will be 7:45am - 9am.
2. FEBRUARY 17 (Wednesday) -- 5th District Congressional candidates Mo Brooks, Les Phillip, and Parker Griffith will be speaking at an upcoming meeting (Republican Women of Madison.)  It is February 17 at the Holiday Inn on Madison Blvd. in Madison.  Starts at 11:00am and is open to the public, but if you want to eat lunch there, during the meeting, you must RSVP to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 3. FEBRUARY 26 (Friday) -- WVNN'S "CANDIDATE GET TOGETHER."  The last event was hugely successful, and thirteen elected officials and candidates are already RSVP'ed to this event.  It will be at Mason's Pub from 5pm - 8pm.  Go here for more details:  http://www.theattackmachine.com/
4. FEBRUARY 27 (Saturday) -- ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF THE FIRST NATIONWIDE TEA PARTY PROTEST/ SCREENING OF TEA PARTY DOCUMENTARY MOVIE.  This is the 1 year anniversary of the first nationwide Tea Party protests in 2009.  We'll be celebrating by watching the movie "Tea Party: The Documentary Film."  Please join us!  This is also a good educational opportunity, so please invite friends who may be interested in learning about the movement.  After the movie, we will hold an activist training seminar - where Chad Capps and I will share what we learned from the three seminars that we attended in January (American Majority Summit, FreedomWorks Summit, Nationwide Tea Party Coalition Summit.)  The purpose is to empower each of you to be leaders in this movement, to expand our message and grow our numbers.  We all must be leaders in this movement.  We do not have a location secured for this event, yet, but want the time to be 1pm - 4pm.  Please help us if you know of a facility that we could use.  We will need a large tv in order to watch the Tea Party movie, which is a DVD.  We will let you know when a location is finalized!
5. 6. MARCH 20 (Saturday) -- CONSTITUTION SEMINAR.  Activists in Pulaski, Tennessee are holding this Constitution Seminar.  Someone from National Center for Constitutional Studies will be presenting the seminar, just like the one we held back in November.  If you are interested in attending, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  There is a small fee required, to cover travel expenses of the NCCS rep as well as production expenses for the notes you'd receive.  Our seminar was a blast, and I'm sure this one will be as well.  We are planning to hold another one in the Huntsville area, and will inform you about that as we finalize logistics.
7. APRIL 4 (Sunday) -- TEA PARTY EXPRESS.  Tea Party Express is stopping in Huntsville on their way to Washington DC for a Tax Day Tea Party.  They will be featuring various speakers and entertainers.  Go here for more details:  www.teapartyexpress.org
   This event will be at Shuttle Park at the Space & Rocket Center from 2pm - 4pm.  Huntsville Tea Party will be holding an Easter Egg Hunt after the event.
8. APRIL 15 (Thursday) -- TAX DAY TEA PARTY!  We're still planning the logistics, but will be holding another Tax Day Tea Party.  The theme is "2010 is Our Year!"  We will not have any politicians speaking at this event, but encourage candidates to attend and contact us about setting up tables.  Speakers we have invited include Mike Leahy w/ Nationwide Tea Party Coalition (one of the national organizers for last year's Feb. 27th nationwide Tea Party), Brendan Steinhauser w/ FreedomWorks, Dr. John Fanning (organizer of the Doctors' Health Care Rally last November), and Gary Palmer w/ Alabama Policy Institute.  We will alert you when a location is secured.  Time will be 5pm - 7pm this year.  Look forward to seeing you there!  :)  Bring your friends!
