Should we hold a Huntsville rally on April 15th?

Raise taxes?

Do you think it is possible for the federal government to balance the budget without raising taxes?

This is a 4 day event with symposiums and an expo on Thursday & Friday.  A 9-11 memorial will be held Saturday AM. Then the march will begin and end with a rally at the Washington monument.  The events are being organized by Unite in Action. Check out the website for all the details at http://www.marchondc.org/ .

Freedomworks will also have a march scheduled for Sunday afternoon (9-12)
Buses to DC: It is time to register for a bus to Washington DC for the marches. Buses are being coordinated for Alabama by the Alabama Liberty Convoy. They have 8 buses reserved, which they expect to fill up quickly. Sign up here: http://libertyconvoy.org
Option One: Buses will leave Alabama on Thursday evening, arriving in DC on Friday. They will leave DC Sunday morning, arriving in Alabama Sunday night. This allows for participation in the Liberty XPO & Symposium, and sign making party on Friday, and Unite in Action's events on Saturday. This has been the main option because most people have to work on Monday. The cost per person is $381.75. That includes the bus and hotel together. Of course, the more people that are in the room, the less is costs per person.

Option Two: Buses will leave Alabama on Thursday evening, arriving in DC on Friday. They will leave DC Sunday evening, arriving in Alabama Monday. This allows for participation in the Liberty XPO & Symposium, and sign making party on Friday, Unite in Action's events on Saturday, and FreedomWork's events on Sunday. If someone needs to work on Monday, they should not go with this option. The cost is the same as option one.

We also have a link on our website: http://libertyconvoy.org/ for Wetumpka Tea Party's Red Eye that will leave Alabama Friday, arriving in DC Saturday morning, and will leave DC Saturday night, arriving in Alabama Sunday morning. There is no hotel room with this bus, and it only allows for participation in Unite in Action's events on Saturday. This is best for people who have limited time off work, or can't afford the other options. It is only $115.

Anyone who does not want to take the bus, but wants to stay in the same hotel with Alabama can also register from our website. We are staying at the Crystal Gateway Marriott. The hotel is $99 per night plus tax, and that rate is available from Sept. 7th - Sept. 15th.

I hope this clears up any confusion. Please let your groups know what is available. We extended the deadline to Aug. 20th...but cannot guarantee we will have availability that long.
