First of all the cell phone number previously provided (334) 235-2251 is incorrect. Please do NOT call it anymore.

Second, we’ve just heard from one of the good guys in the House. Apparently, Mike Millican, Chairman of the House Health Committee, folded under pressure from Speaker Seth Hammett and Rep. Ken Guin and they have killed the Healthcare Freedom Act (SB233).

We need to remember come November. For now, feel free to keep calling the other phone numbers previously provided to let those representatives know that you supported SB233 and are very disappointed that it was killed. I’ll try to get more details of who was against SB233 in the house, but I do want to leave you with the words of the Representative that let us know that the leadership in the House killed the bill...

"They've got it killed. Make 'em famous, along with those who give 'em power."
