We want to share a few very important facts with you. Recently an article from 2006 was uncovered headlined "(Parker) Griffith calls for universal health care."
So, now we know that 4 years ago Griffith was fighting for government-run health care similar to what was adopted in Massachusetts. Very soon after, Jesse Ferguson with the DCCC released a statement saying, "Only two years ago, Representative Griffith represented the Democratic Party on the ballot and said he supported universal health care..." http://dccc.org/newsroom/entry/parker_griffith_for_universal_health_care_before_hes_against_it/ This account tells us that only 2 years ago (the year he ran for U.S. Congress) he was for universal health care. Both of these accounts directly contradict Griffith's statement to The Huntsville Times on Dec. 24 (two days after his party switch), "I haven't changed...I didn't go further to the right." We have asked Griffith to explain these statements and contradictions, as part of the questionnaire sent to him, and will post his answers when we receive them. His support for government-run health care directly violates every single core principle of the Tea Party movement: limited government, fiscal responsibility, individual liberties, and the free market. Please heed this information and help us elect the best candidate to Congress for the 5th Congressional District.
