There are several Alabama freshman legislators on Twitter who are sending frequent updates on what is happening.  They are all at a conference for new legislators somewhere near Tuscaloosa.  Their updates reveal that the AEA is working hard to water down ethics reform and there are some legislators who don't want their gravy train to stop.  It appears that we will have to fight if we want real ethics reform in Montgomery - the kind that Governor-elect Bentley promised.

If you are on Twitter and want to follow these updates then follow the following Alabama legislators.  Ed Henry is particularly interesting.

sencamward  (Cam was in the house and has been working for ethics reform for years.)

voteforphil   (our own Phil Williams)
