Alabama Ethics Reform is in Danger PDF Print E-mail

I have heard reliable reports that certain Republican state legislators want to water down and may even vote against the ethics reform bills being considered in the ongoing special session, which next reconvenes this Wednesday.

While I am certain that most of the legislators fully support the strongest ethics reform possible, it is time to voice some friendly support for good ethics reform.

Contact your State representatives - ALL this week

Contact your local House and Senate representatives by phone and by email.  Be respectful and friendly, but let them know that business as usual is not acceptable and that you want to see Alabama pass the best ethics reform of any state in America.

If they tell you that they fully support ethics reform, ask them if there are any legislators who need a little nudge in the right direction!

You can contact any Alabama House member by putting their name in the subject line of an email to this address: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

(That address will cause a printed copy of the email to be delivered to them)

If the representatives you wish to contact were in office last year, you can find them here:

Alabama Senate

or for the House here:

Alabama House

If they were recently elected in Madison County you can find their contact info here:

Or call the state switchboard at: (334) 242-7600 or 242-7800
