As I am sure you've noticed, we've been out of action for quite some time. Unfortunately, just before the summer last year, several of us had significant personal challenges all hit at the same time and we just had to let some things drop. 

However, we've now found a great couple who have the drive and focus to take on leading the Huntsville Tea Party. Larry and Teresa Torreyson have stepped up to take on the leadership of the Huntsville Tea Party for which I am grateful.

I really enjoyed my time leading this group, especially writing newsletters and seeing all of you at rallies. I know that over the years we truly made a difference in many areas. I look forward to the good that Larry and Teresa will do going forward.

I want to give special thanks to Melissa who did so many great things behind the scenes for out group. She handled the paperwork, finances, permits, and many things related to getting rallies organized. We would have never been successful without her. Unfortunately, like me, Melissa has decided that she must step back to take care of pressing personal matters. I know we will miss her tremendous help.

David, our webmaster and technical guru will stay involved at the heart of the Tea Party keeping our website, facebook page, and email system working smoothly, for which we are very grateful.
